Halloween Fun- plus bowling and carrot pictures, too!

Well, if you know me at all, you know how much I love Halloween! I love just having fun, and it's nice to have a holiday that is all about having fun with no other expectations than that. We had a good Halloween day- enjoyed the trunk-or-treat at the church and then Mark took the girls around to a few houses in the neighborhood.

Here are a few pictures of our cute kitty (Alina) and brave knight (Amara), plus a few other pictures, such as cleaning out our garden of the carrots and a recent bowling excursion. Have a good day!

Alina loved that she could finally wear those nifty bowling shoes!

My serious game face. :)

Guess who won, again, as usual? :)

Mark was the master face painter for the girls. He should hire out, huh? :)

How we decorated our van for the trunk-or-treat. Just a hodge-podge of everything. We had fun and gave out over 250 pieces of candy, and ran out before the end!

Broken record, sorry

Yup. Sometimes I feel like I should have an automated post every day that says "ditto". Not that I do the same thing every day, but I feel like I don't have much new to share. And part of the problem is since I don't post every day, I can't remember everything that I have wanted to share and so when I do post I feel like there's nothing new. :) So sorry!

Girls have been enjoying their swimming lessons. We're in week 3 of 4, thank goodness, but they're both doing well and learning. We're enjoying library story time immensely and come home wit 20-25 books a week, which we voraciously read. I love it, and hope my girls are learning to love reading too (I think they are).

Last week Mark and I celebrated 7 years of marriage and I surprised him with a night at the Black Swan Inn. We had dinner at Sumisu. It was a fun weekend and we played all day Saturday with the girls, doing things and taking them out to eat.

Toodles for now! Enjoy these random pictures from the past month or two!

Sorry, still the same old, same old

Well, yes, much is still the same around here. Routine is inevitable, but also a pretty good thing, too. The girls are in their second of four weeks of swimming lessons. Today we enjoyed another fun day at the library with story time. With these two things, I get a few opportunities a week to read a little bit. Gotta have that "me" time!

Mark stays pretty busy at work. Even though he works a little longer than I like most nights, I am grateful that he works so hard for our family, and that he makes the most of his time with us when he's at home.

We are gearing up for Halloween and finally have costumes for the girls decided on and purchased- a pinkie cat for Alina and a knight for Amara. Cheap, easy, and almost homemade! Of course you know pictures will follow in the future.

Well, that's about it for now. Enjoy your day!

Same ol', same ol'- with picture overload!

Nothing too new or exciting to report. Pretty normal life- chores, crafts, fun, craziness, and more craziness!

Swim lessons are going well for the girls. Mark is doing well at work. And I'm getting along alright, too.

Thought I'd post some pictures from the past several months. We've got face painting, Lagoon, swimming and swimming lessons, plus other miscellaneous fun things. Oh, and Amara's 3rd birthday pictures. We've also got some spring t-ball pictures in there, a couple graduation pics, a visit to Chesterfield, the Museum of Idaho "Pirates" exhibit, and other miscellaneous pictures since January. Enjoy!
